 Queen Bea Scraps and Barbara V, I need you to give me your email addresses and full names so that I can send them on to Dawn by midnight on the 20th.  She has set that deadline so that she can get everyone entered before UStamp starts.  You will both be sent an invitation for the event (on the 25th I believe) which you will need to accept.  Your acceptance will be confirmed by Dawn, after which you will be able to log on to the UStamp event.  Even after the event is over, you will still have access to the site and the projects for several months.  I hope you will participate in the chat room, the challenges, and more.  There are lots of wonderful, talented, and generous paper crafters who are always excited to meet new members and share their talents. 

Don't forget to get back to me asap (before midnight on the 20th) with your email address and full name.  Congratulations again and thanks for your wonderful comments about my projects at regionals.  I had a great time and really appreciated your enthusiasm!  I will be posting my projects, along with the tutorial soon.

It's time for some more blog candy!  Yay!!!

It's time for some Blog Candy!  In my previous post you read about UStamp with Dawn and Friends Early Summer Edition 2010.  Well, it's almost time for the next UStamp to begin.  On August 20th, UStamp with Dawn and Friends Early Fall Edition 2010 opens and will run through September 10th.  This event promises to be amazing!  Each member of UStamp will have access to 160 different card designs in at least 40 different color combinations!  That's HUGE!  That should supply you in card ideas for quite a long time!

Pop Up Baby Birth Announcement

Okay, I have got to get over being intimidated about posting on my blog!!!  I'm not sure why I am, I just am.

Anyway, here is a project I designed and created for UStamp with Dawn and Friends Early Summer Edition 2010.  You can join that site through the blinkie I have near the upper left of my blog or just click on the title above and then scroll down to the appropriate event. With UStamp, you will receive 40+ project tutorials that you can download and print, chat with other members, share talents, make lots of new friends, and even win prizes!  Check it out.

I got the idea for the Pop-up part of the design from a Cricut class my sister took me to a few years ago in Cedar City, Utah and decided to change it to a mini album/announcement. I would love to give credit to the class instructor, but I cannot remember her name.  Anyway, a big thank you to her for teaching me how to do the pop-up tag. 

I plan to make a video of how to do this project soon.  I had a lot of fun with this one and hope all of you will give it a try after I make the video.  Then I hope you will send me a link to your posting so I can see the amazing things you create from my tutorial.

A fun frog punch project!

I am really pleased how my frog easel card turned out!  I designed this card after seeing another card online that used a very cute frog stamp (not Stampin' Up!).  I decided it would be fun to use my punches to make my own frogs.  I hope you like it as well.
